AutoCAD Draughtsman Project Documentation

Our
client is a well -established building contractor specializing in refurbishment,
concrete repair and construction projects across the UAE.

We are recruiting an
experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to support project delivery through technical
drawing preparation, project documentation control and coordination of
construction information. The role will also support estimation and project
teams with quantity take -offs, BOQs and tender -related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, modify and
  update AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation to support
  project requirements and ensure accurate project information.
  
• Review drawings,
  specifications and BOQs to support quantity take -offs, measurements, material
  schedules and tender requirements.
  
• Manage project
  documentation including drawings, submissions, approvals, revisions and
  document registers to maintain accurate records throughout the project
  lifecycle.
  
• Provide technical
  support to project and estimation teams through drawing updates, quantity
  calculations and coordination of project information.
  

Mandatory Skills
& Experience

• Minimum 2 years’
  experience in AutoCAD drafting, technical documentation or quantity surveying
  support within the construction industry.
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD
  with the ability to prepare, modify and interpret technical drawings.
  
• Good understanding of
  construction drawings, specifications, BOQs and project documentation
  processes.
  
• Experience supporting
  quantity take -offs, measurements and material schedules is preferred.
  
• Strong organizational
  skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing technical
  information.
  

Candidate Profile

• Currently residing in
  the UAE.
  
• Good command of written
  and verbal English with strong communication and coordination skills.
  
• A detail -oriented and
  organized construction professional with the ability to manage technical
  information accurately and support multiple project requirements.
  

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s
  degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Drafting or a related
  construction discipline preferred.
