Job Description - Backend Engineer - Python

Job Description

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable server-side applications and APIs
Develop and optimise database structures to ensure fast, reliable data access
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to enhance product functionality
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency
Integrate third-party services while maintaining reliability and security

The Successful Applicant

4 years' backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python
At least 2 years' experience working with AI-assisted tools
Clear communicator able to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams
Bonus: exposure to full-stack development, SRE/DevOps, or AI-powered products
