Role       : Bancatakaful Partnerships Manager
Location : Abu Dhabi                            

Role Purpose:

To lead and drive Bancatakaful partnerships across ADIB Group entities and external B2B distribution channels. The role is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships, driving sustainable revenue growth, enhancing partner performance, and expanding Bancatakaful distribution capabilities while ensuring alignment with ADIB's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    
Key Accountabilities of the role      
 

Partnership Management & Channel Support

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of strategic Bancatakaful distribution opportunities across ADIB Group entities and external B2B partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive partnership growth, business expansion, and long-term value creation.
• Negotiate and manage partnership arrangements, commercial terms, service levels, and operational requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Drive the integration and optimization of Bancatakaful products across multiple customer segments, channels, and digital touchpoints.
• Oversee channel-specific initiatives, campaigns, and strategic projects to maximize business performance and customer engagement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, ensuring effective governance and timely resolution of operational or business issues.

Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute Bancatakaful partnership strategies that support ADIB's retail banking and Bancatakaful growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and partnership models to expand Bancatakaful distribution and revenue streams.
• Evaluate market dynamics, competitive positioning, customer needs, and industry developments to recommend strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and revenue forecasting for Bancatakaful partnership channels.

• Support the development and implementation of strategic growth plans to achieve agreed business targets and market share objectives.

   

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Own the performance management framework for assigned Bancatakaful partners and distribution channels.
• Monitor and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance against agreed KPIs, targets, and service standards.
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners, identifying performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive corrective actions and business enhancement initiatives to ensure delivery of revenue, sales, and customer experience objectives.
• Prepare and present executive performance reports, dashboards, and management updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, governance, and operational requirements across all partnership activities.

Market & Product Insights

• Lead market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support product development, proposition enhancement, and partnership expansion.
• Collaborate with product, distribution, digital, and marketing teams to strengthen Bancatakaful offerings and customer value propositions.
• Monitor customer feedback and market trends to support continuous improvement in products, services, and distribution strategies.

Sales Enablement & Training Support

• Drive sales enablement initiatives across Bancatakaful distribution channels to improve productivity and business outcomes.
• Lead partner engagement programs, product awareness campaigns, and business development initiatives to support revenue growth.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of sales tools, product presentations, training materials, FAQs, and customer communication guides.
• Partner with frontline teams and channel managers to identify sales opportunities and improve product penetration.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training and engagement activities and implement improvements where required.
   

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
 

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Insurance, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Bancatakaful, Insurance, and Financial Services market dynamics, distribution models, and industry trends.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and associated risks.
• Proven partnership management, business development, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue generation, performance management, and strategic planning.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in project management and execution of cross-functional initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to interpret business data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

  Previous experience: 

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Bancassurance, Takaful, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
• Demonstrated experience in partnership management, business development, distribution management, and strategic relationship management.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and managing external business partnerships.
