Job Description - Business Head - Aluminium

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Business Head -Aluminium to lead the growth and development of our aluminium product division. This leadership role will focus on business strategy, client acquisition, supplier management, and team leadership while ensuring operational excellence and market relevance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aluminium packaging solutions, the fragrance/cosmetics industry, and a strong background in sales, marketing, and product lifecycle management. A results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset is essential for driving performance and innovation in this critical business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Development:

  • Define and execute the strategic direction for the aluminium product line in alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, key clients, and partnership channels across the GCC, Europe, and Asia.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to position the company as a leader in aluminium fragrance packaging.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

    • Drive business development by cultivating relationships with high-value clients, distributors, and retailers.
    • Develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing assets tailored to market segments.
    • Represent the aluminium division in client meetings, trade shows, and B2B events.

    Product Portfolio & Innovation

      • Oversee the design, sourcing, and continuous improvement of aluminium packaging solutions, ensuring alignment with trends, sustainability, and luxury aesthetics.
      • Collaborate with the product development and design teams to launch new offerings based on market feedback and client requirements.

      Supplier and Operations Management

        • Establish and maintain strong relationships with aluminium manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
        • Work closely with the logistics, QC, and warehouse teams to streamline operational processes.

        Financial Oversight

          • Monitor and manage the business unit's P&L, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost control.
          • Forecast sales, set budget targets, and prepare regular financial performance reports for senior leadership.

          Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

            • Lead, mentor, and grow a dedicated team responsible for sales, operations, and product development within the aluminium division.
            • Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments including fragrance, glass, and pump divisions to drive synergy.


            Qualifications & Experience:

            • Proven knowledge and experience in aluminium packaging for the fragrance, cosmetics, or luxury goods sector.
            • Deep understanding of B2B product cycles, manufacturing processes, and supplier networks in the packaging industry.
              • Minimum of 8 years in a leadership role in product management, business development, or sales ideally within the aluminium, packaging, or beauty sector.
              • Demonstrated experience in launching and growing product lines and managing multi-market portfolios.
                • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Design, or a related field.
                • A Masters degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
                  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop market-entry and growth strategies.
                  • Excellent negotiation, client relationship, and team leadership skills.
                  • Proficiency in project management, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
                  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and trends in aluminium and cosmetic packaging.
                    • Knowledge of sustainability trends and eco-friendly material solutions is a plus.
                    • An eye for design trends in luxury packaging that aligns with high-end fragrance and cosmetic branding.
                    • Experience using tools like SAP, Salesforce, or Odoo for sales tracking, inventory management, and client lifecycle management.
