Buyer Job Location : UAE Job Responsibilities: • Procurement of Raw Material, Packaging and Indirect Services required by the Business on time, cost efficiently and meeting the Business needs.
• Support the Supply Chain function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations
• Close communication with Finance & relevant departments on up to date commodity pricing info
• Negotiate contracts, improve pricing and terms of purchase with suppliers and review new opportunities to make business savings Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university with minimum of 3-4 years of Regional Procurement-specific experience in a Global, Manufacturing organization
• Experience working in FMCG Industry preferred
• Have experience in running E-Tenders and in managing and forecasting commodity prices
• Should demonstrate a proven track record in risk management, strategic procurement, negotiation, and achievement of cost reductions
