You are entrusted with technical command of the aircraft, leadership of the crew, and the responsibility to uphold Etihad\u2019s highest standards of professionalism.\n\n * * Ensure the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times\n * Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi-out to final engine shutdown\n * Lead the flight and cabin crew, demonstrating strong decision-making and effective crew resource management\n * Operate with efficiency and environmental responsibility, in line with company fuel and sustainability policies\n * Deliver consistent On Time Performance to meet Etihad\u2019s commitment to reliability and guest satisfaction\n\n\n\n## What you\u0027ll bring\n\nTo be considered for the role of Captain A320 - Non-type Rated, you must meet the criteria below:\n\n * * A minimum of 7000 hours total flying time.\n * A minimum of 4000 PIC hours on multi crew, glass cockpit aircraft (1) \n * Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL\n * Unrestricted and current Class 1 medical\n * Have not attained the age of 59 years on the day of joining\n * Current TRE/TRI is an advantage\n * English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or higher\n * In case of hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimum\n\n\n\n(1) Glass Cockpit: aircraft with a FMS coupled to APFDS\n\nAbout Etihad Airways\n\nEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world\u2019s leading airlines.
