Cardiac Surgeon

We are excited to announce an opening for a Cardiac Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with various heart conditions. We seek a candidate who is not only skilled in advanced surgical techniques but also committed to delivering compassionate and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations of patients to determine the most appropriate surgical options.
• Perform complex cardiac surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass surgeries, valve replacements, and heart transplants.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to create personalized treatment plans.
• Ensure comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, monitoring patient progress and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term health strategies.
• Engage in clinical research and educational opportunities aimed at improving cardiac surgical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery and fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in cardiac surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced cardiac surgical techniques and patient management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure surgical environment and make critical decisions effectively.
• A valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
