Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead carpentry teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
  


• Review, interpret, and update drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
  


• Use computer applications for reporting, documentation, and material requests.
  


• Perform data entry for daily progress, timesheets, inventory, and material tracking.
  


• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to resolve technical issues.
  


• Conduct inspections of finished carpentry works for accuracy, quality, and safety compliance.
  


• Train and mentor junior carpenters and helpers in technical and safety practices.
  


• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards on site.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Certificate in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or related field.
  


• Minimum 5 years carpentry experience, with 2+ years as Foreman.
  


• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and fit-out works.

  • Fluency in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
    
  
  
  • Physically fit and able to perform carpentry tasks when required.
