Job Description - Cashier Dispatcher

Ourservices have also expanded in 2020 beyond Brick & Mortarsto include Cloud Kitchens and wide expansion in Virtual Brands.Eathos currently operates in more than 41 branches across the 2countries with 6 Cloud Kitchens and up to 15 VirtualBrands.


TheCashier Dispatcher plays a crucial role in providing excellentcustomer service accurately processing transactions andcoordinating the efficient flow of orders in the restaurant. Thisposition involves handling cash transactions managing customerinquiries and effectively communicating with kitchen and servicestaff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery offood.


Responsibilities:

  • Greetcustomers warmly provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere andpromptly address their inquiries orconcerns.
  • Accuratelyprocess customer orders including taking food and beverage ordersentering them into the pointofsale (POS) system and calculatingtotals.
  • Acceptpayments from customers using cash credit cards or digital paymentmethods and provide accurate change whennecessary.
  • Maintaina clean and organized cash register area including ensuring theavailability of necessary supplies such as receipt paper and cashdrawers.
  • Assistin maintaining accurate records of transactions and daily cashbalances ensuring compliance with cash handling and reconciliationprocedures.
  • Utilizingthe aggregator system to check the performance and connectivity oftablets used for orderprocessing.
  • Monitoringand managing online orders received through the aggregator platformensuring timely preparation anddelivery.
  • Applyingdiscounts and promotional offers accurately using the aggregatorsystem ensuring customer orders reflect the correct pricing andpromotions.
  • Checkingthe availability of items by accessing the digital inventorymaintained within the aggregator system and updating it in realtimewith any changes orsubstitutions.
  • Communicatecustomer orders to the kitchen staff ensuring accuracy and clarityand prioritize orders based on dining room capacity deliveryrequests or other specialinstructions.
  • Managephone calls and customer inquiries providing information on menuitems prices specials and any other relevantdetails.
  • Upselland promote additional items or special offers to customersenhancing the overall customer experience and maximizing salesopportunities.
  • Collaboratewith the kitchen and service teams to resolve customer concernscomplaints or special requests in a timely and professionalmanner.
  • Maintainknowledge of menu items ingredients and allergen information toaddress customer questions and concernsappropriately.
  • Followall safety and security procedures including verifying theauthenticity of cash payments and reporting any suspiciousactivities to thesupervisor.
  • Assistin other frontofhouse duties such as seating guests bussing tablesand maintaining a clean dining area asneeded.
  • Stayinformed about restaurant promotions events and policies to provideaccurate information tocustomers.
  • Attendstaff meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledgecustomer service skills and POS systemproficiency.


Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent ispreferred.
  • Previousexperience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferably inthe restaurant or hospitality industry isadvantageous.
  • Strongmathematical skills and ability to handle cash transactionsaccurately.
  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively withcustomers and teammembers.
  • Proficiencyin using POS systems and familiarity with basic computeroperations.
  • Abilityto multitask and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Attentionto detail and strong organizational skills to handle multipleorders and prioritize taskseffectively.
  • Abilityto remain calm and professional in highpressuresituations.
  • Flexibilityto work in shifts including evenings weekends and holidays asneeded.
  • Knowledgeof food and beverage industry practices including hygiene andsanitationstandards.
  • Basicknowledge of menu items ingredients and allergen information isdesirable.
  • Abilityto stand for extended periods and lift and carry trays or suppliesasrequired.
