Job Description - Chef de Partie

  • Assisting the Head Chef and SousChef in creating menu items, recipes and developingdishes
  • Preparing breakfast & platingdesserts
  • Assisting with the management of foodhygiene practices
  • Monitoring portion and wastecontrol
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchenand food safetystandards
  • Experience ofkitchen equipment
  • Experience of dangerousequipment such as knives
  • Understandable levelof English spoken andwritten
  • Knowledge andability to run a section
  • Ability to workwithout close supervision
  • Ability to producegood quality food in all sections
  • Good oralcommunication
  • Team managementskills
  • High level of attention todetail
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skillsand knowledge plus those aroundyou
