Chinese Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Chinese Language Teacher to deliver engaging and effective Mandarin instruction to students at various levels. The teacher will be responsible for curriculum planning, classroom management, student assessments, and fostering an environment that encourages language learning and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Chinese language lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

• Prepare teaching materials, activities, and assessments suitable for different learning styles and age groups.

• Evaluate student progress through written and oral assessments and provide feedback.

• Encourage cultural immersion through Chinese traditions, history, and literature.

• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.

• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.

• Incorporate technology and digital tools into lesson planning and instruction.

• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese.

• Proficiency in English (or the language of instruction).

• Teaching certification or license (e.g., TCSOL, PGCE, or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with HSK curriculum and international teaching standards is a plus.
