Job Description - Civil Engineer Infrastructure Construction

EngineeringManager will have a strong strategic business focus. They areresponsible for and grow key business areas while closelypartnering with strong individual contributors. They help grow andscale the engineering team as the company grows while overseeingthe development and release of new products and features bypartnering with Sales, Compliance, UX, Legal, Product, CustomerSolutions, Client Growth, Sales Engineering, Marketing, TalentAcquisition and QA. Engineering Managers are accountable forbusiness alignment and know the levers to pull in order to executesuccessfully.

Hiregreat engineering talent to build an effectiveteam
Supportindividual contributors, as well as engineering managers in theircareer development by providing clearfeedback
Developengineering leaders to own large impactfulareas
Ensurea high technical bar by creating/adopting development processes(architecture reviews, testing) and instilling a culture thatpromotes engineeringexcellence
Buildeffective roadmaps that allow for execution of ambitiousgoals
Coordinateexecution and collaborate across multifaceted teams to unblockcross-cutting projects that may represent the most pressing needsof theorganization

YouHave:

1-3years as a engineering manager in startupenvironments
Keeneye for hiring and developing high caliber talent, especiallyengineers
Passionateabout creating/adopting efficient business processes that increasevelocity and improvequality
Experiencemanaging and scaling engineering teams that build APIs and operatehigh volume distributed systems in a SaaSenvironment
Collaborateand partner with cross functionalteams
Entrepreneurialmindset with a product-mindedfocus
Stronginterpersonal skills with a high level ofempathy

NicetoHave:

Experiencewith our specific technology stack is preferred but not required:RESTful API written in Golang andNode.js
Sveltefor front endtheming
Microservicesrunning on K8s engine@GCP
Horizontallyscaling MS SQL Server, Terraform as IaC, and Onprem 50/50 splitbetween Linux andWindows.
