Job Description - Clinical Assistant

Description

Assist in patient assessment by gathering clinical history and observations.
Ensure patient medical file available before and during consultation.
Assist physicians or nurses in checking approval for patient services and documentation of OPD Insurance procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and update clinical documentation accurately.
Assisting Clinicians for proper documentation of patients , history and condition and updating it on each visit.
Supports administrative tasks such as appointment Scheduling and Inventory management.
Maintain accurate Inpatient and Out patient records and documentation.
Maintains Confidentiality of patients records.
Inform department nurse of pending admission and assist patient with admission procedure.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising clinicians.
Demonstrate awareness of fire safety, patient safety, infection control and the other necessary precautions as per hospital policy and participates in JCI activities.

Qualifications

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare.

Skill set: Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
