Clinical Genetics Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Genetics Physician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with genetic disorders, conducting genetic testing, and providing expert counseling to patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in advancing personalized medicine and improving patient outcomes through your expertise in genetics.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with suspected genetic conditions.
• Analyze and interpret genetic test results, ensuring clear communication of findings to patients and their families.
• Develop personalized treatment and management plans based on genetic evaluations and patient history.
• Educate patients and families on hereditary conditions, risks, and available options.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients.
• Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of genetic medicine.
• Document patient interactions and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Clinical Genetics.
• Board certification in Clinical Genetics is required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical genetics experience or a similar specialty.
• Proficient in genetic testing methodologies and their clinical applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset.
