Clinical Genetics Physician

Our company is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Genetics Physician to join our healthcare team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and managing genetic disorders while providing supportive genetic counseling to patients and their families. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients navigate complex genetic information and making informed healthcare decisions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and take detailed family histories to assess genetic risks.
• Interpret genetic test results and communicate findings effectively and empathetically to patients and families.
• Develop individualized care plans based on genetic risk factors and overall health assessments.
• Provide genetic counseling that addresses family concerns, options, and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Participate in clinical research endeavors and keep current with advancements in genetic medicine.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records in compliance with regulations and ethical standards.

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Clinical Genetics or related field.
• Board certification in Clinical Genetics is required.
• Active medical license within the practicing state.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical genetics.
• Strong competency in genetic testing, counseling, and clinical diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic patient interactions.
• Proficient in collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.
