Clinical Genetics Physician

Our company is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Genetics Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing genetic disorders, providing genetic counseling, and helping patients and families understand the implications of genetic testing. Your expertise will support patients in making informed healthcare decisions based on their genetic makeup.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with suspected genetic disorders.
• Interpret and communicate genetic test results to patients and their families clearly and compassionately.
• Develop and implement personalized management plans based on genetic findings and overall health status.
• Provide genetic counseling to patients, discussing the risks, benefits, and limitations of genetic testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
• Engage in research and education related to genetic disorders and advancements in genetic medicine.
• Maintain detailed medical records and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Clinical Genetics.
• Board certification in Clinical Genetics is required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in genetics or a related specialty.
• Strong knowledge of genetic testing procedures and genetic counseling practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information to patients effectively.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
