Pharmaron is a leading clinicalresearch company, and we are currently looking for a ClinicalResearch Nurses to join our team on a part-time basis in Baltimore,Maryland. The Clinical Research Nurse participates throughout theentire clinical trials study process.

As aResearch Nurse, you are responsiblefor a variety of clinical research activities, ensuring thatestablished protocols are followed, maintaining study protocolintegrity, monitoring participant's status and safety, andplaying a significant role in the training of clinicalstaff.

• Performs nursingspecific tasks, as required by protocol, and towards the care andwell-being of study participants
• Confirms thatunit is prepared for upcoming studies, including preparation ofspecimen collection, inventory of medical supplies, and requiredequipment
• Explains protocol procedures toparticipants
• Responsible for the InformedConsent process; from initial informed consent and throughout allphases of study discusses study details with the participant inaccordance with ICH and FDA guidelines
• Performsstudy-related tasks and procedures, such as investigational productadministration, phlebotomy, urine collections, placement andmaintenance of IV catheters, vital signs, ECGs,etc
• Monitors and documents allparticipants' adverse events, medical conditions andresponses to study medications andtreatments
• Quality controls source documentsand other work regularly throughout each shift
  

Schedule:

• 12-hours shift (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am) -depends on Study schedule
• RNs to be flexible todo Dayshifts and Nightshifts, this doesn't mean you willflip around constantly, but once a while you may need to work theshifts which is not your preferred shift
• Oneweekend every 2 week
  

Qualifications:

• BSN degreerequired
• MD State licenserequired
• 3 to 5 years of nursing experience ina hospital setting
• 1 year of clinical researchexperience is a plus
