Job Summary The Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing and administering the Azure platform, (IaaS), (PaaS), and (SaaS) solutions. This role also encompasses the administration of the Office 365 ecosystem and other communication and collaboration platforms. Key Responsibilities
Administer Microsoft Azure, including provisioning, deployment, backup, patching, and upgrading of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
Manage the Office 365 ecosystem, covering Microsoft Licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
Oversee Active Directory administration, including on-premises and Azure environments, deployment/decommissioning of domain controllers, group policies, and ensuring connectivity between on-premises DCs and Azure AD.
Collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers to provide administrative support on servers, including DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, file servers, Azure, Office365, and video conferencing solutions.
Manage and deploy Intune MDM & MAM policies for mobile device management.
Coordinate with PBX system vendors to ensure telephony services are consistently online, including SIP trunk management.
Provide IT user support through phone, in-person, or remote channels, ensuring timely logging and resolution of support calls according to predefined SLAs.
Offer Level 3 IT support to all users and serve as an escalation point for User Support Engineers.
Assist in the installation and configuration of servers and server applications as needed.
Collaborate with vendors to identify and implement relevant technologies to enhance IT services.
Essential Functions
Administer Azure, Active Directory (on-prem & Azure), and other servers, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, and connectivity issues on servers, applications, and services.
Ensure continuous connectivity to critical services such as Emails, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint from user devices.
Respond to technical assistance requests from users promptly via various communication channels.
Perform routine hardware and software installations/upgrades on servers and key equipment.
Identify and escalate situations requiring higher-level intervention.
Provide Level 3 IT support for all users and ensure prompt service delivery.
Support Senior System Engineers and IT Managers in setting up or troubleshooting servers, applications, or services as needed.
