Job Description - Club Technician

Job Description

  • Ensure all club-level rooms and lounges are functioning properly
  •  Perform routine preventive maintenance checks.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment (TVs, speakers, projectors) in club lounges
  • Ensure smooth running of entertainment systems and guest-use technology.
  • Ensure technical readiness of club-level guest areas.
  • Respond promptly to service calls or technical issues reported by staff or guests.
  • Assist in setting up special VIP events in club areas
  • Maintain tools and spare parts inventory.
  • Request or restock needed equipment or supplies for technical upkeep.
  • Respond to technical issues reported by guests in club-level rooms or lounges.
  • Ensure all facilities are in top condition for VIPs and high-tier loyalty guests.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear documentation of inspections and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems commonly found in hotels. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems efficiently.
  • Experience in performing routine maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols governing hotel operations, including fire safety, electrical safety, and occupational health standards.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner. Adaptability to handle unexpected challenges and emergencies as they arise.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to interact with hotel staff, guests, and external contractors professionally.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service to hotel guests. Ability to respond promptly to guest requests and concerns while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues in maintenance and other departments.
