About the Position:
We seek a diligent and motivated Collection Specialist to join the Emirates Transport Collections team for three (3) months. This role is essential in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Timely collection of receivables as per defined targets.
- Escalate instances of bad debt, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Review receivables aging reports for relevant clients and ensure necessary measures are taken to recover overdue amounts.
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status for relevant clients.
- Conduct field visits with clients to resolve outstanding issues and collect the receivables.
- Follow up with clients to ensure payment of services rendered.
- Provide information regarding bad debts and problematic customer segments periodically to the line manager.
- Assist line manager in any proposed settlement and write-offs on bad debts.
Expected Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience and Skills Set:
- Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing and collection processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
