Commis Chef

As a Commis Chef, you are responsible forpreparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver anexcellent Guest and Member experience. A Commis Chef will also berequired to prepare all mis-en-place and contribute to departmentaltargets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure consistent great foodproduction, in line with the high quality standards expected byHilton
• Perform tasks within a timelymanner
• Contribute to Kitchen revenue througheffective food cost control
• Provide support tothe Kitchen brigade
• Prepare and present highquality dishes within company guidelines
• Keepall working areas clean and tidy and ensure no crosscontamination
• Prepare all mis-en-place for allrelevant menus
• Assist other departmentswherever necessary and maintain good workingrelationships
• Report maintenance, hygiene andhazard issues
• Comply with hotel security, fireregulations and all health and safety and food safetylegislation
• Awareness departmental targets andstrive to achieve them as part of the team
• Meetall health and hygiene requirements
• Beenvironmentally aware
