Commis Chef, Cold Section - Coastal Restaurant (Luxury Hospitality Group)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate cold-section dishes according to brand recipes and specifications.
• Maintain mise-en-place levels and ensure all ingredients meet freshness, storage, and hygiene standards.
• Support senior chefs with preparation for service, stock rotation, and quality checks.
• Uphold HACCP protocols and maintain a clean, organised workstation.
• Coordinate with the wider brigade to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
• Contribute ideas and improvements within the cold section where relevant.

• 1–2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef in a premium, high-volume restaurant.
• Technical skills in cold-section preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of HACCP and international food-safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
