Job Purpose

Precisely measure synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powder chemicals according to specified formulations as outlined in the company's Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety protocols. Collaborate effectively within a team, upholding comprehensive health, safety, and hygiene practices. Facilitate open communication with other departments to swiftly resolve any issues, thus maintaining the highest level of customer service for our Perfumers, Sales and our production colleagues.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Precisely weigh and blend aromatic oils and chemicals per set formulations, following company protocols rigorously.


• Immediately identify and report any compounding issues, regardless of their size.


• Assist Perfumers in swiftly developing fragrance oils.


• Guarantee accurate labeling of bottles, including traceability details.


• Comply with company Health & Safety and raw material handling procedures.


• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures in the compounding lab.


• Ensure sufficient raw material stock to prevent shortages and delays.


• Place weekly raw material orders and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 stock records.


• Keep work areas clean and organized, following GMP and GLP practices.


• Ensure equipment cleanliness and dryness prior to use.


• Operate the DFL machine when needed.


• Maintain regular communication with the quality control department for smooth operations.


• Report workplace hazards promptly.


• Fulfill additional tasks as directed by the Line Manager.
