Construction Engineer

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Construction Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities for oil & gas project works in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
  
• Review engineering drawings, construction documents, method statements, and technical requirements before site execution.
  
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure construction progresses according to project schedules and quality requirements.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  
• Ensure site activities comply with applicable HSE procedures and project safety requirements.
  
• Identify construction issues, technical conflicts, and site constraints and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
  
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, materials, and construction quality.
  
• Prepare construction progress updates, site reports, and documentation for project management.
  

Required Skills

1. Construction Engineering — Strong understanding of construction planning, execution, and site coordination.
   
2. Oil & Gas Construction — Knowledge of construction practices applicable to oil & gas projects.
   
3. Engineering Drawings — Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
   
4. HSE Compliance — Understanding of safe construction practices and project HSE requirements.
   
5. Project Coordination — Ability to coordinate construction activities across contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
   

Preferred Skills

• QA/QC and inspection coordination

Work Experience Requirements
