POSITION SUMMARY:

The candidate will work on tasks that are related to project cost estimation, preparing a complete and comprehensive Bid Package for review by the Senior Estimator prior to any Project date line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


• Properly develop RFI’s Communicate properly orally and written.


• Performing Quantity Take Offs.


• Calculate detailed quantities in material, labor and equipment costs.


• Elaborate detailed estimates breakdown in material, labor, equipment and indirect costs associated with the construction task.


• Maintain Subcontractor bid list


• Communication with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain prices.


• Collecting and organizing data for use in bid proposals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.


• Candidate must have 3 years of experience performing the duties described above


• Proficient Excel, MS Word, Onscreen takeoff or similar, Bluebeam or similar.
