Key Responsibilities

• Operate cardiopulmonary bypass machines during cardiac surgical procedures, including open-heart surgeries.
• Monitor and manage patient's physiological status during surgery in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Maintain and calibrate perfusion equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Prepare and manage blood products and pharmacological agents related to perfusion.
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all perfusion-related activities and patient data accurately.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in perfusion technology and techniques through continuous education.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Perfusion Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Cardiac Perfusionist from a recognized body.
• Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi / UAE.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac perfusion, preferably in complex cardiac surgical settings.
• Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass procedures, equipment, and patient management during surgery.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes surgical environments.
