Consultant Cardiac Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures and manage complex cases with precision and expertise.
• Evaluate patients undergoing cardiac surgery, providing preoperative assessments and developing individualized surgical plans.
• Monitor patient progress post-surgery and manage postoperative care to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for cardiac patients.
• Participate in educational programs, training, and mentorship of surgical residents and medical staff.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing cardiac surgery practices.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in cardiac surgery and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a Cardiac Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cardiac surgical practice preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in performing various cardiac surgical procedures and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical teams.
