Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join one of the leading hospitals in the UAE. The successful candidate will specialize in performing complex surgical procedures involving the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs within the thoracic cavity. Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, thoracic tumor resections, and lung transplants.
• Evaluate and manage patients preoperatively and postoperatively to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and recovery.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans considering each patient’s unique condition and medical history.
• Participate in clinical research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives related to cardiothoracic surgery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation of surgical procedures and patient progress.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and innovations in cardiothoracic surgery and incorporate best practices into clinical care.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized training and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure for practicing cardiothoracic surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon or in a similar senior surgical role.
• Proven expertise in performing complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures with excellent clinical judgment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care and adhering to ethical medical standards.
• Active involvement in ongoing professional development, research, and teaching activities.
