About the Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high-acuity ICU, organ support and multidisciplinary critical care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Critical Care Physician to join its growing clinical team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Provide advanced organ support, including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination and sepsis care.
• Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring according to clinical privileges.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and allied health teams.
• Communicate effectively with families and support goals-of-care discussions and ethical decision-making.
• Support ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audits, simulation training and quality improvement initiatives.

• UK CCT / FFICM / MRCP or FRCA pathway

• DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
