Consultant Dermatologist - Riyadh

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide expert-level dermatological care, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to manage a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, manage, and treat a wide spectrum of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and skin cancers
• Perform detailed skin examinations, dermoscopy, and skin biopsies
• Carry out advanced dermatological procedures such as laser therapy, chemical peels, cryotherapy, and phototherapy
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients
• Provide high standards of clinical care, patient safety, and confidentiality
• Educate patients on skincare, prevention, and long-term management strategies
• Collaborate with other medical specialties to manage complex cases
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited institution
• Board Certification in Dermatology (mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Consultant Dermatologist
• Strong clinical experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology
• Proficiency in dermatological procedures and modern treatment techniques
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Western education or training is highly preferred or required depending on licensing authority
• Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing
