Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our professional medical team. This role involves diagnosing and managing a variety of complex gastrointestinal disorders, performing specialized procedures, and contributing to the holistic well-being of our patients.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage in clinical research, and provide expert advice and treatment plans. You will be a key player in ensuring high standards of care and advancing our gastroenterology services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions.
• Perform endoscopic and other diagnostic/therapeutic procedures safely and effectively.
• Develop individualized patient treatment plans aligned with best practices.
• Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health and preventive measures.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in research and continuous professional development activities.
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to the department’s knowledge base.

• Medical degree with a specialization in Gastroenterology
• Board certification in Gastroenterology required
• Valid medical license to practice
• Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficient in advanced endoscopic and diagnostic procedures
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and research in the field
