Consultant General Surgeon

We are currently seeking a Consultant General Surgeon to join our team and work with one of our reputable clients.

The Role:

As a Consultant General Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert surgical care to patients. You will collaborate with other specialists and medical professionals to diagnose, treat, and follow up on patients' conditions. Your main duty will be performing surgical procedures on patients with a wide range of medical conditions, while also providing them with pre- and post-operative care.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough and accurate medical examinations to diagnose patients and determine the best course of treatment

- Perform surgeries and procedures on patients according to established medical standards and guidelines

- Work with patients to inform and educate them about their medical conditions and treatment options

- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Monitor and track patient progress and document all treatment and observations accurately

- Participate in continuing education and training to remain up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and techniques

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols at all times

- Ensure all patient records and information are kept confidential and in compliance with privacy laws and regulations

Requirements:

- Board certification in General Surgery

- Valid state medical license

- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Surgeon

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

- Ability to work independently and within a team setting

- Proficient in electronic medical records systems
