Consultant Hematopathologist Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Consultant Hematopathologist with Western training or education to support advanced diagnostic hematopathology services in one of Riyadh’s premier healthcare institutions. 

Position Overview  
This role requires expertise in hematopathology, laboratory diagnostics, and disease classification to ensure accurate, timely diagnoses while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing hematologic disorders, contributing to research, and improving clinical protocols.  

Key Responsibilities  
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hematologic disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, bone marrow diseases, and coagulation disorders  
- Utilize advanced techniques, including flow cytometry, molecular pathology, and immunohistochemistry, to ensure precision in diagnosis  
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists and hematologists, for integrated patient management  
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality assurance protocols  
- Mentor and train junior staff, including laboratory technicians and residents, to uphold high standards in hematopathology practices  
- Stay informed on advancements in hematopathology through conferences and continuous education

Qualifications  
- Medical degree from an accredited Western institution with specialization in Hematopathology  
- Board certification in Hematopathology from a recognized body such as the American Board of Pathology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent  
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Consultant Hematopathologist, preferably in a hospital or specialized healthcare setting  
- Strong expertise in laboratory hematology, molecular diagnostics, and disease classification  
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly  
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural medical environment  
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage but not required
