Consultant ICU - Abu Dhabi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Consultant to join a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide expert medical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring the highest standards of patient treatment and safety. This role involves leading critical care teams, managing complex cases, and contributing to the hospital’s ongoing medical advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized critical care for ICU patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Oversee ventilator management, hemodynamic stabilization, and infection control protocols.
• Implement evidence-based practices and ensure adherence to ICU best practices.
• Conduct clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in critical care medicine or intensive care medicine.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in an active ICU setting.
• Board certification in intensive care or critical care medicine.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• MOH/DHA/HAAD Consultant License (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
