Consultant Internal Medicine (American Board) - Dubai

Job Overview:

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant in Internal Medicine with American Board Certification to join a growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, a strong background in internal medicine, and a desire to constantly learn and grow in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions related to internal medicine, including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and digestive disorders

- Analyze patient medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order necessary diagnostic tests to determine the appropriate course of treatment

- Develop and manage treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and providing lifestyle recommendations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure proper documentation of all patient interactions and treatments

- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatments, and potential risks and benefits

- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes

- Participate in ongoing medical research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in internal medicine

- Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and participate in teaching and training programs

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school

- American Board Certification in Internal Medicine

- Valid medical license in the state of Dubai

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing physician in internal medicine

- Strong knowledge of current medical practices, procedures, and techniques

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- A commitment to continuing education and professional development

- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
