Consultant Interventional Radiologist - Dubai

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join our world-class medical team in Dubai. This role involves performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that improve patient outcomes across multiple specialties, including oncology, vascular diseases, and emergency medicine. You will work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with leading healthcare professionals to deliver best-in-class patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of interventional procedures, including:
  • Vascular interventions: Angioplasty, stent placement, thrombolysis
  • Oncological interventions: Tumor ablation, chemoembolization, radioembolization
  • Emergency procedures: Gastrostomy tube placements, embolization for trauma
  • Biopsies & Drainage: Image-guided biopsy and abscess drainage
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons and oncologists, to develop optimal treatment plans.
• Maintain high standards in patient safety, adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, and ensure proper procedural documentation.
• Support the education of junior medical staff, radiology residents, and fellow healthcare professionals.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, conduct research, and develop new techniques in interventional radiology.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Board certification in Interventional Radiology
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology (UK preferred)
  Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-certification experience
• Proven expertise in image-guided interventions
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and procedural protocols
