We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant Neonatal Care for our partner hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview:

As a Consultant Neonatal Care, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborn infants in a hospital setting. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure the delivery of quality and compassionate care to your patients. As a vital member of the neonatal care team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized medical care to newborn infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

• Monitor and evaluate the health status of newborns and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Manage and treat complex medical conditions and emergencies in newborns

• Perform procedures and interventions on newborns, such as intubation, ventilation, and umbilical catheterization

• Oversee the work of resident physicians and medical students and provide teaching and mentorship as needed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for neonatal patients

• Stay updated on the latest developments and recommendations in neonatal care through continuous education and training

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to neonatal care

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited college or university

• Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

• Candidates must possess UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in neonatal care

• Valid medical license in Saudi Arabia or eligible for licensure

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Demonstrated dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Fluency in English, Arabic language skills are preferred but not required
