Consultant Neonatologist

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Consultant Neonatologist to join our team. In this key role, you will provide expert consultation and clinical care to newborns who are critically ill or who require specialized attention in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will work closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes for our patients and support their families through challenging times.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing expert clinical assessments and recommendations for newborns in need of specialized care
• Overseeing the management of critically ill neonates, including those with complex medical conditions
• Collaborating with pediatricians and other specialists to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans
• Educating and mentoring junior medical staff and healthcare providers in best practices for neonatal care
• Communicating effectively with families about their newborn's condition, treatment options, and progress
• Engaging in clinical research projects and initiatives to improve neonatal care practices
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to quality improvement efforts

• DM DrNB degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a Pediatric residency and fellowship training in Neonatology
• Board certification in Neonatology is required
• Active medical license in the relevant state
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Neonatologist preferred
• Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Commitment to continued professional development and education in neonatal medicine
