ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its kidney care, dialysis, hypertension, and renal disease management services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Nephrologist to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment alongside urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians, and allied healthcare professionals, supported by advanced renal care facilities, dialysis services, and modern diagnostic infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of renal conditions including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular disorders, electrolyte abnormalities, hypertension, and complex renal diseases.

• Oversee and manage renal replacement therapies including haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and long-term dialysis care planning.

• Provide inpatient nephrology consultations and comprehensive outpatient management for patients with complex kidney conditions.

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring renal transplant assessment and coordinate care with transplant and multidisciplinary teams.

• Collaborate with urology, vascular surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, intensive care, and other specialties to ensure integrated patient care.

• Provide patient education regarding renal health, medication management, dietary recommendations, dialysis care, and prevention of disease progression.

• Support renal service quality initiatives including dialysis standards, infection prevention, clinical audits, patient safety programs, and evidence-based practice improvements.
