As a Consultant Nephrologist, you will provide expert diagnosis, management, and treatment of kidney diseases, including overseeing dialysis and transplant programs. You will also engage in academic activities, including teaching and research, contributing to the continual advancement of clinical nephrology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate personalized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases.
• Lead and manage dialysis services and kidney transplant care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in teaching medical students, trainees, and junior doctors.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and adhere to best practice guidelines.

• Possession of a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Nephrology.
• Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and eligible to work in the UK.
• Substantial clinical experience in nephrology within the NHS or equivalent healthcare system.
• Proven skills in managing dialysis and renal transplant patients.
• Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teaching abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care, professional ethics, and continuous professional development.
• Experience or interest in clinical research is desirable.
