Consultant Neurologist - Government Healthcare facility

In the role of Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the healthcare team, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and neurological examinations on patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as CT, MRI, and EEG
• Develop and implement treatment plans for various neurological conditions
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care strategies
• Stay current with the latest developments in neurology and healthcare regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans

• Completion of a neurology residency program
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a government healthcare facility
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders
• Proficient in the interpretation of various diagnostic imaging and tests
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Focus on patient-centered care and commitment to ethical medical practices
• Board certification in Neurology is highly desirable
• Experience in research or clinical trials is a plus
