Consultant Neurosurgeon (Cranial / Brain) - Dubai

As the Consultant Neurosurgeon, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with complex and acute neurological conditions related to the brain. This includes diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, and other disorders.

Main responsibilities:

- Conduct consultations with patients to assess their neurological conditions

- Use advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques to accurately diagnose conditions

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including surgical interventions and non-surgical approaches

- Perform complex surgeries on the brain, including craniotomies, microsurgeries, and endoscopic procedures

- Monitor and manage post-operative care and rehabilitation of patients

- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to patients

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice

- Train and supervise junior physicians and medical staff

Qualifications:

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Neurosurgeon in Dubai

- Completion of a residency program in Neurosurgery

- Fellowship or advanced training in cranial/brain surgeries preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent decision-making and analytical abilities

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

- Candidates must have Western education/training.
