Job Title: Consultant Nuclear Medicine

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Consultant Nuclear Medicine to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional expertise in the use of radioactive materials and other diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in the evaluation and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and a passion for providing quality healthcare to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols and policies

• Evaluate and manage patients' medical histories, medications, and any special requirements for specific procedures

• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in administering radioactive materials and other diagnostic and therapeutic modalities

• Stay up to date with current trends and developments in nuclear medicine and participate in research and continuing education activities

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the interpretation and implementation of imaging studies to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans

• Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to nuclear medicine

• Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and other relevant equipment

• Train and supervise nuclear medicine technologists and other personnel as needed

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Medicine with specialization in nuclear medicine

• Board certification or equivalent in nuclear medicine

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in nuclear medicine

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment

• Knowledge of current trends and developments in nuclear medicine

• Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality

• Fluency in English, both verbal and written

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
