A leading healthcare group in the UAE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary oncology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various types of cancer while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in accordance with international clinical standards.
Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies within the scope of practice.
Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
Monitor treatment response and modify management plans based on clinical outcomes.
Coordinate multidisciplinary cancer care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
Interpret laboratory investigations, pathology reports, and diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision-making.
Provide supportive and palliative care to improve patients' quality of life.
Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, potential side effects, and prognosis.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, international clinical guidelines, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
Supervise and mentor junior physicians and other healthcare professionals when required.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service development and research activities.
