Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic Speaker) -Qatar

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic Speaker) to join our team at Allocation Assist Middle East in Qatar. Role and Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations to diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders

- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and monitor conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy

- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, lifestyle, and individual needs

- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, laser surgery, and placement of intraocular lenses

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, to provide the best possible care for patients

- Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes

- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education and professional development

- Act as a resource for other healthcare providers and staff on ophthalmology-related matters

- Contribute to research and publication in the field of ophthalmology

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Medical degree in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Ophthalmology with corneal fellowship 

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in a reputable institution 

- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diseases, conditions, and procedures

- Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans

- Proficient in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and performing surgical procedures

- Professional demeanor and excellent bedside manner

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

- The candidate must have received Western training or education
