Consultant or Specialist Pain Medicine

We are searching for a dedicated Consultant or Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our exceptional team. This critical position focuses on the evaluation and management of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and employ a variety of interventional techniques to address pain. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential in ensuring a holistic approach to pain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of patients’ pain conditions and medical histories.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that may include pharmacological and procedural interventions.
• Conduct interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other pain management techniques.
• Educate patients and families about pain management options, self-care, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in clinical research efforts to advance practices in Pain Medicine.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up with patients to monitor treatment efficacy.

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty discipline.
• A current and valid medical license to practice in the relevant area.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Pain Medicine or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in performing interventional pain management techniques.
• Strong clinical acumen and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and education.
• A collaborative team player capable of working with various healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the field of Pain Medicine.
