Consultant or Specialist Pain Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant or Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with various acute and chronic pain conditions, using a comprehensive and compassionate approach.

The ideal candidate will develop personalized treatment plans, leveraging both pharmacological and interventional strategies to alleviate pain and improve patient outcomes. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and involvement in continuous education and research are key components of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed assessments and evaluations of patients suffering from pain conditions.
• Design and implement individualized pain management treatment plans.
• Carry out interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other pain relief techniques.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management options and self-care techniques.
• Participate in pain management research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards.

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or relevant specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice.
• At least 5 years of experience in Pain Medicine or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in interventional pain management procedures.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to collaborative care.
