Consultant Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Tier 1

Dr Expat is recruiting experienced Consultant PICU Physicians for opportunities with leading healthcare providers across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Requirements

• Tier 1 specialist qualification – UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia or equivalent recognised Tier 1 pathway.
• Specialist training in Paediatrics and Paediatric Intensive/Critical Care Medicine.
• Strong consultant-level experience within a tertiary or acute hospital environment.
• Extensive experience managing complex and high-acuity paediatric critical care patients.
• Eligible for Consultant-level DHA or DOH licensing in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working skills.
• Previous UAE experience is not essential.

The Role

The Consultant will provide senior clinical leadership within PICU, managing critically ill infants, children and adolescents and working closely with paediatric subspecialties, emergency medicine, anaesthesia and multidisciplinary critical care teams.

Responsibilities will include complex case management, clinical decision-making, supervision of junior medical staff, participation in the consultant on-call rota and contribution to quality and patient-safety initiatives.
