Consultant Paediatric Pulmonologist Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

As a Paediatric Pulmonology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing specialised medical care to children with respiratory diseases and disorders. You will work with a team of highly trained healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various respiratory conditions in children, including asthma, bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Chief of Paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans for children with respiratory conditions

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lung function tests and X-rays

• Prescribe medication and provide appropriate follow-up care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

• Stay updated on new developments and treatment options in the field of paediatric pulmonology

• Educate patients and their families on proper management and prevention of respiratory conditions

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution

• Board certification in paediatric pulmonology

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paediatric Pulmonology Consultant

• In-depth knowledge of respiratory diseases and disorders in children

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

• Valid medical license in Saudi Arabia

• The candidate must have received Western training or education
