Consultant Pathologist- Leading Healthcare Facility

As a Consultant Pathologist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing diseases through laboratory analysis and supporting the medical team with your expert insights. You will be expected to provide leadership within the pathology department and collaborate closely with clinicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examination and analysis of clinical specimens including biopsies and autopsies
• Prepare and interpret pathology reports with precision and clarity
• Advise medical and surgical teams on pathology-related matters
• Lead and mentor junior pathology staff and trainees
• Ensure strict adherence to laboratory and safety protocols
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in relevant research and stay abreast of advancements in pathology

• Medical degree with specialization in Pathology
• Board certification or equivalent credential in Pathology
• Proven experience as a Consultant Pathologist, preferably in a leading healthcare setting
• Strong expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology
• Excellent leadership and mentorship capabilities
• Superior diagnostic and analytical skills
• Familiarity with laboratory management systems and quality assurance processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
